The Painted Hills Board has been requested to review and recommend rental restrictions for the Painted Hills Homeowners Association. In the next 2 days, you will receive a letter containing a copy of a proposed Amendment to the Painted Hills Covenants, a letter of explanation and a pre stamped ballot. The Amendment # 5.12 was presented at the request of members at the July 10, 2017 Board of Directors meeting. The proposal addresses the use of property in the Painted Hills Subdivision as rentals. This is an important issue to both home owners and lot owners as it may affect the value of your property. We must have a 2/3 approval vote of the membership in order to approve this amendment to the covenants, so it is very important that you return the completed ballot. Please read the material and return the enclosed pre stamped ballot to the Painted Hills office, either by mail or by dropping it off at the office at your earliest convenience but no later than September 29, 2017 For members who live in the Painted Hills Subdivision, a neighbor may come by your home to answer any questions you might have about Amendment #5.12 You may also contact a board member or email the Painted Hills office for clarification on any issues.
