​( 3) Important announcements from Painted Hills office
 

1. Due to the algae and weed condition on Lake Holiday, Painted Hills Association has requested the help of Aquatic Control to do a one time  special application in order to prevent the continued growth of weeds and algae . Aquatic Control will treat (LAKE HOLIDAY ONLY)  on  the morning of Friday August 17.  Boating , fishing and swimming will not be affected, but please do not use water for plants or lawns until Sunday morning, August 19.    If you launch your boat on both lakes, you

can help prevent any further spread of the algae by making sure you wash boat trailers and boats after launching on Lake Holiday. Thank you for your cooperation .
 

1.  The Painted Hills Board of Directors will be holding elections at the Annual Meeting September 22,  to fill vacancies  for the board.  If you are interested in volunteering your time and efforts to keep Painted Hills running smoothly, please submit your name to any of the Board members, or to the Painted Hills Business office 765 342-6409.

There are eight positions on the board in addition to President and Secretary ,however, when running for the board, the decision as to who will be chair for each committee is decided after the member is elected .

As was previously announced, Castaway’s Tina Kapp will be giving up the management of the Painted Hills Clubhouse August 31st.  Anyone interested in a new business venture  should submit a  written business plan no later than Friday, August 17th. to the Clubhouse Committee chair, Mitch Wallace [email protected]  or to the Painted Hills Business office  [email protected]
