Poplar Tulip Tree Problem
A lot of people have had some concerns about their Poplar trees.
A resident has asked that we pass on this information.
Sharon Blair has found out some information that she is sharing with anyone who is interested. You will find an ATTACHMENT (BELOW) from Brown’s Tree Service AND this link http://www.emmitsburg.net/gardens/articles/adams/2007/sooty_mold.htm that will give you some information.
Sharon and Scott are having Michael Johnson of Brown’s Tree Service look at their trees on Tuesday.
Sharon added this information if anyone is interested in using this service:
His name and number is: Michael Johnson, 317-797-7760. The main number for the tree service is 317-739-0627.
He said for people to call his cell phone and leave a voicemail to include their name, address, and phone number. He said they should mention they live in Painted Hills so we can get a group rate.
Lake Treatment 5/14 and 5/17
Weather permitting, the Lakes Committee will be treating both Lake Nebo & Lake Holiday on
Monday May 14th and Thursday May 17th
Do not use lake water for plants or lawns until Sunday May 20th
There are no other restrictions.
Due to the mild weather this Winter, weeds will be more severe so we will be treating more than in past Summers.
In addition, on Lake Nebo, from time to time, Chuck Kern or another Lakes Committee Member will be exceeding the normal no wake policy in order to churn up the algae.
