Bryzoans

​Many have expressed concern about the color and clarity of Lake Nebo this Spring. Lately, some waterfront members on Lake Nebo have sighted a brownish, growth on dock ladders, dock posts and tree branches in the water.  It is smooth to the touch , much like the feel of a football.  Do not be alarmed. These are actually beneficial to our lake water and should be left to do their work.  They are called BRYZOANS, and cannot survive in polluted water, thus we know our water is in good condition.
