Commissioners Certificate Sale Feb 28

Painted Hills Association members,
Many of you have friends or relatives  who have visited and have expressed a desire to become a member of our Association.  This can only be done by purchasing a lot in the Subdivision.  An opportunity to purchase a lot at a reduced price is coming up On February 28, there will be a sale held at the Morgan County Annex at 180 S Main St in Martinsville.
Thirteen lots in the subdivision will be auctioned, with the minimum bid of $50.00  Back property tax owed will be forgiven.  These lots have not sold prior as the taxes owed are usually more than the going price for similar lots.  
If new members purchase a lot, they get the benefit of Painted Hills amenities and the Treasures office can begin collecting property taxes going forward.
Taxes on these lots are usually under $10.00 per half.
