Algae Growth - Lake Holiday

​I have a preliminary report from Aquatic Control for the testing around the lakes. The sample from the Lake Holiday Ramp on Saturday September 21st shows an increase in blue green algae. The levels are NOT at the Toxic levels, but they do advise against dogs playing in and around that cove area.  
 

The treatment recommendation is to use Cultrine Ultra in that area, and it was also recommended to use it around the Lake Nebo ramp area. I have checked with Bud and his volunteers, they will get that treatment done as soon as possible. We will follow up with Aquatic Control, they did say that with the evening temperature getting cooler that they are very certain that it will not spread or get into a bloom.
